Gap Latch

The Gap Latch is the first of our gates. It consists of two specially designed attachments mounted on your strainer post, one at the top and one at the bottom. The specially designed post has a hook which slides into the attachment at the base. The top hook on the handle attaches to the slot in the side of the top attachment. These two attachments make connection of the gate very easy.

The over-centering lever gives us a lot of reach to enable the gate to be connected and due to its efficiency of leverage when pulling back on the handle, it brings the gate up extremely tight and secure.
